Ixchel Tattoos is a family-run tattoo studio located in Isla Mujeres’ mid-island neighborhood of Salinas, just down the street from Kash Keken Chuc and near Gym Tonic. Established in 2014, the studio is led by longtime island residents Yamile Aguirre and Gio Chan, who bring years of experience and a personal approach to every piece they create.

Specializing in fine line work, watercolor designs, and cover-ups, Ixchel Tattoos is known for turning personal stories into lasting artwork. Piercing services are also available, using hypoallergenic materials and professional techniques.

Popular with both locals and visitors alike, the studio offers transportation service by reservation, which is ideal for those staying further from the mid-island area. Many return to Ixchel Tattoos trip after trip for custom ink and piercings in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
