Casa Diego, opened in April 2025, is a welcoming breakfast spot in downtown Isla Mujeres, located between the main square and the bank CiBanamex, just a short walk from the ferry. The entrance can be easy to miss, so look for the rattan style sunshades above the doorway, between the shops. The space includes a peaceful outdoor garden area, next to a covered open air dining section, creating a calm and comfortable setting. In January 2026, Casa Diego opened a rooftop space, with live music some evenings.

The menu offers a variety of breakfast options, including eggs benedict, motuleños, chistorra-scrambled eggs, smoothie bowls, chia pudding, fruit plates, bagels, avocado toast, omelets, and chilaquiles. For those with a sweet tooth, there are hotcakes, waffles, and a popular French toast. Drinks include fresh juices, coffee, and tea. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious!
