It is much more likely that you will catch sun rays when snorkeling on the surface as opposed to diving underwater, and the sun in this part of Mexico is very strong. In order to minimize the impact while snorkeling you can take the following measures: wear a rash guard and/or leggings/long pants to cover the skin, use the reef-safe sunscreen that will be made available to you at the dive center, choose to sit in the covered/shady area of our boat, drink plenty of water before and after to keep yourself hydrated. Q. Can I wear a full-face snorkel? A. If you own a full-face snorkel and wish to use it on this tour, we invite you to do so. However, full-face snorkels are not provided as part of our standard equipment. Q. What if the weather is bad? A. In high winds and/or heavy rain we will probably choose to cancel the tour for your own safety. You will have the option in this case to take a full refund or re-book the tour for another day.
