Taco's de Ferry, named so due to their previous location right next to the Ultramar ferry on Isla Mujeres, is a delicious late breakfast or lunchtime taco spot open from Monday to Saturday. Their new location, in front of Café Isla (which is beside Casa Cultara in downtown Isla Mujeres, is a local, family run taco stand. Very popular amongst island locals, they are open until 3pm, but usually they run out before that, providing a different selection of fillings each day for your tacos or tortas! With options including breaded chicken or pork, egg with chaya (Mayan spinach), egg with meat, pork rinds in red sauce, relleno negro with pork and chicken (black stuffing, like a stew, a delicious, regional choice) as well as many other choices. Ask them what they have on offer and get a selection of different tacos to see which is your favorite ...and don't forget to get there early before they run out!
