After years of “what if?” conversations, we’re excited to announce plans for a brand-new sky bridge connecting Puerto Juárez, Cancún directly to Isla Mujeres. This elevated roadway would stretch across the crystal-clear Caribbean waters, giving drivers a once-in-a-lifetime ocean view the entire way across.

The concept? A smooth, scenic drive straight to the island—no ferry schedules, no waiting—just hop in your car and arrive in minutes. Early “plans” even include designated photo pull-offs, sunset viewing spots, and panoramic lanes so you can soak in those unreal turquoise views along the way.

Locals say it could be one of the most beautiful drives in all of Mexico…

For now, the ferry remains the only way to get to Isla Mujeres, and honestly, that’s part of the magic. The breeze, the anticipation, and that first glimpse of the island as you approach—it’s an experience you wouldn’t want to skip anyway.
