Tacos de Ferry TACOS DE FERRY Tacos de Ferry, named so due to their previous location right next to the Ultramar ferry terminal on Isla Mujeres, is a delicious late breakfast or lunchtime taco spot, which is open from Monday to Saturday. Their current location, in the parking lot in front of Café Isla, and beside Casa Cultura, in downtown Isla Mujeres, is a local, family run taco stand. Very popular amongst locals on the island, they are open until 2 PM, but usually they run out before that time. They have selection of delicious fillings each day for your tacos or tortas! With options including breaded chicken or pork, egg with chaya (Mayan spinach), egg with meat, pork rinds in red sauce, relleno negro with pork and chicken (a regional dish, with a base of grilled chiles) as well as many other choices. Ask them what they have on offer and get a selection of different tacos to see which is your favorite ... and don't forget to get there early before they run out!
